Inside Reno Recording & Performing Arts Collective
The Full Story
When Hoppers mentor, friend, and colleague, Taylor Harper decided to take him to a place she knew would get his mojo rockin, it was the beginning of something special. They attended the Big Picture Learning conference in Providence Rhode Island which literally changed Travis' life. At that conference he attended the High School for Recording Arts workshop. It's a high school in St. Paul MN where Sam Sidel and Tony Simmons presented their schools model. From that day forward, every cell in his body was focused on creating a similar model that would work for teens, and young adults in Reno, NV. The key element was to incorporate music projects into the regular school day at Innovations HS and work with local aspiring musicians in the community.
Today, RrPAC runs a fully functional studio with professional services offered to the artists involved.
